Blackberry Play dough

Sensory play is a critical part of early childhood development, as you all know. Yet it can be quite cumbersome to keep ideas for sensory play fresh and exciting. I need to spice this ish up!!  So this morning Biscuit and I made some scrumdiddlyumcious blackberry play dough. My mouth was watering, it smelled DELISH!!
Here is the recipe ~ 1 cup flour, 1/2 cup salt, 2 tbsp cream of tartar, 2 tbsp vegetable oil, 1 cup warm water, and 1 three ounce package of blackberry gelatin. Cook over MED heat and stir until it thickens into a ball.

It will look like this when it's all done....

Then you need to sniff your magical creation, because it is yummy.

I gave Biscuit cupcake wrappers, candles, pie pans, and other assorted baking goodies to play with.

She made blackberry cupcakes...

and blackberry pie.

Happy Playing & Exploring!!
