Dough Paint!!!

Have you ever tried dough paint?! If you haven't experimented with this super simple homemade paint you really should! It is easy to make and easy to use.

All you need is 2/3 cup flour, 2/3 cup water, 2/3 cup salt, washable paints and "squeezie" bottles.

Mix the flour, water, and salt together in a large bowl. The mixture will be thick.

Divide the dough paint into two bowls. Once divided, add a bit of paint to each bowl of dough until you get the desired color. .

Then pour the dough paint into your bottles....

 and squeeze!!!

I would recommend using poster board, card stock, or very thick construction paper to paint on!

Excuse the pajamas and fireman hat. ;)

The Hubs and I made some designs too. We couldn't resist.

Happy Playing & Exploring!!

  2. BTW I love the pj's and fire hat! It reminds me so much of Jett. He is almost always wearing some sort of prop or costume. His favorites are he protective goggles that came with his workbench and his Woody cowboy hat. So cute!
